How a project with a leading bed retailer led to a long-term dream tech partnership

06th April 2020

Our first experience with working with KPS was two years ago when one of our clients, the leading bed retailer Dreams, brought us on-board to help with its migration to the SAP Hybris platform as part of its mission to digitalise its business.

The migration to SAP Hybris was driven by Dreams recognising the need to integrate its sales channels to better meet the needs of customers at each stage of their buying journey, whether it was online or in-store – something its disparate legacy systems were no longer able to sufficiently deliver.

The solution was to be implemented by commerce transformation specialists, KPS, and we worked closely with the KPS team and Dreams’ internal technical team on the project to help them minimise risk in their platform migration, optimise user experience on site and improve online performance.

Thanks to a great cultural fit across the two KPS and thinkTRIBE teams – and our now in-depth knowledge of the KPS tech stack and how it integrates across the SAP Hybris platform – we have continued to work with them closely on Dreams’ digital transformation journey.

Fast forward two years, and our partnership has gone from strength to strength and we have grown out three joint clients together, culminating in us delivering fast and error-free experience for over 1.2million web pages and almost 400k sessions during peak trading.

Our ethos is about working together to deliver better digital journeys – and that aligns closely with KPS’ mission to deliver best of breed customer experience in commerce. Our combined experience in working together now gives retailers the assurance that their risk is mitigated during digital transformation journeys, meaning customer experience isn’t impacted and sales opportunities aren’t lost.
